【Chateau Mouton Rothschild 1993 Magnum Size (1500ml)】
Robert Parker Rating: 90/100
Château Mouton Rothschild is located in the town of Pauillac in the Medoc, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of Bordeaux. The Grand vin is one of the most highly regarded and expensive wines in the world, often considered the most vigorous and powerful of all Bordeaux wines. It was elevated to first-growth status in the 1855 classification in 1973, a well-known event at the time.
"The 1993 is a beautifully made wine which could be considered a sleeper of the vintage. The wine boasts a dark purple color, followed by a sweet, pain grillee, roasted nut, and cassis-scented bouquet that is just beginning to open. There is more richness of fruit, a sweet, ripe, pureness to the wine, as well as medium body and outstanding balance. This moderately tannic, well-focused, surprisingly"- Robert Parker
Grape Varieties:
81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, & 1% Petit Verdot
